Resource Management Solutions (RMS) has been accredited by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority to supply workers safely in sectors such as horticulture and agriculture.
This means that the workers we employ receive fair treatment, pay, benefits and conditions they are entitled to.
The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA), a non-departmental public body, protects vulnerable and exploited workers and investigates labour exploitation in England.
The licensing scheme regulates the provision of workers for roles in the UK fresh produce supply chain and horticulture industry, and makes sure businesses meet the employment standards required by law.
RMS has been assessed to check we meet the GLAA licensing standards which cover health and safety, accommodation, pay, transport and training, and that tax, National Insurance and VAT regulations are met, and our licence has been renewed by the authority.
We urge you to ensure that the recruitment agencies and employment businesses you choose to work with are licenced by the GLAA. If you use agency workers within any of the following sectors, the agency must be a registered GLAA member:
- Agriculture
- Horticulture
- Foresty
- Shellfish gathering
- Food and drink processing and packaging
Our membership enables us to legally supply temporary workers to the above sectors.
