About the Role:

As a Technical Graduate, you will play a vital role within the heart of our operations. The technical function is instrumental in ensuring our products consistently meet the rigorous demands of diverse industries, from renewable energy to aerospace applications. Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of steelmaking processes—from laboratory analysis and non-destructive testing to process optimisation and quality assurance.

  • Project management and problem-solving to drive continuous improvement across all stages of steel production.
  • Developing and enhancing the capability to produce high-quality, high-value steels that meet both customer needs and environmental standards.
  • Metallurgical investigations, chemical analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Research & Development, Commercial, and Supply Chain.
  • Supporting the advancement of new products and innovations that push the boundaries of modern steelmaking.

About You:

We are looking for enthusiastic and curious individuals with a passion for materials and innovation. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a 2:2 degree in one of the following fields: Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Environmental Science, Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering, or Geology.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to drive decision-making and project success.
  • A desire to embrace change, lead with enthusiasm, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking.
  • An ability to understand and integrate into a global organisational culture, demonstrating passion for achievement and a thirst for knowledge at every level.
