RMS is seeking a skilled and meticulous Painter & Decorator to join our team on a contract basis and support with the renovation of our new location

Job Details:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

About the Role:

As a Painter & Decorator, you will play a critical role in enhancing the appearance of our client’s facilities and assets. This role involves a wide variety of painting, decorating, and finishing tasks, requiring a high level of skill, precision, and attention to detail..

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and a Prepare and condition surfaces through meticulous cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming, ensuring superior paint adhesion and a flawless finish.
• Apply a variety of finishes, including paint, varnish, and wallpaper, tailored to both interior and exterior specifications.
• Deliver precise detailing in painting intricate areas, such as trims, skirting boards, and bespoke decorative designs.
• Perform timely touch-ups and maintenance to preserve the polished and professional appearance of assets and facilities.
• Collaborate proactively with project managers and team members to plan, prioritise, and meet deadlines effectively.
• Maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace, fostering a safe and organised operational environment.

About You

• Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
• Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brushwork, roller application, and spray-painting.
• Ability to deliver precise and polished finishes, even on intricate or complex designs.
