Seren Support Services, a specialist in delivering high-quality home care services across South Wales, has extended its reach and ability to service its clients by opening a new office in Brecon, as part of its ongoing expansion plan.
The care provider, which employs some 120 staff, provides care and home support services across the Neath Port Talbot area for hundreds of home-based patients. The company has made the investment in response to increased demand for its services in the region.
The new office, located on Castle Street, Brecon, will act as a base for the South Powys and mid-Wales region, with some 14 new and sustained roles already being implemented. Its expansion plan outlines a further recruitment drive in the near future for this branch, in order to compliment the round the clock support service provided by the company’s headquarters in Llandarcy, Neath.
The new base in Brecon will see Seren Support Services work closely with the public sector, providing its services to a number of patients currently enlisted with Powys County Council. However, its new base now opens its doors to potential further growth within the private sector.
Nick Pambianchi, managing director and co-owner of Seren Support Services, said this latest expansion of the business represented just the latest step in what has been a period of rapid growth for the company in the past three years.
Pambianchi continued:
“In the past three years we have invested heavily in the quality of the staff we employ and as a result, the quality of the care we supply. This has resulted in more people wanting to use our services, leading us to steady growth.
“With Seren opening further branches across Wales, we are able to support more clients and provide them with the care that they need. Our clients are our priority and so having a presence in additional locations will allow us to continue to provide the top quality service we are proud of and known for.”
Seren Support Services is a family business, which looks after around 150 clients in the region providing care in their homes. It provides support seven days a week 24 hours a day, with its staff conducting around 400 appointments every day on average. It also owns two specialist supported living homes dedicated to caring for adults with learning disabilities.
