RMS Recruitment is working with a renowned leader in the precision manufacturing industry, specialising in automotive ball bearings, roller bearings, and bearing units. They are proud to supply many of the world’s most prominent car and vehicle manufacturers. We are currnetly hiring a HR Advisor to support their team in the Peterlee area. 

Role overview:

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support across all areas of human resources. The successful candidate will have a strong background in generalist HR duties, absence management, restructuring experience, employee relations, payroll, and administration. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate with employees at all levels and navigate various HR challenges with professionalism and tact.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Manage absence management processes, including monitoring attendance, tracking leave requests, and providing support to employees and managers
• Support restructuring initiatives by assisting with organizational changes, workforce planning, and employee communications.
• Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially, including conducting investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Payroll processing.
• Maintain HR records and documentation, including employee files, contracts, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Collaborate with HR team members to develop and implement HR initiatives, programs, and policies aimed at enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Stay current on HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend improvements to HR processes and procedures.

About you:

• The sucessful candidate will have a strong background in HR Duties and payroll
• The sucessful candidate will ideally have a manufacturing background or a understanding of the industry.
• The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who can effectiviely communicate with employees at all levels and navigate various HR Challenges with professionalism and tact.
