The Role:

As a European Business Development Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving business growth and forging strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Brand Ambassador – Represent and promote the company across the industry.
  • Business Expansion – Identify and develop new opportunities in automotive and beyond.
  • Client Engagement – Build and nurture strong relationships, delivering tailored solutions.
  • Sales & Strategy – Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and help achieve EU sales targets.
  • Market Insights – Analyse trends and competitors to stay ahead.
  • Networking & Events – Attend key industry meetings and conferences.
  • Technical Support – Assess customer samples/weld tests to provide the best solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Education: HND, HNC, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering (or relevant business development experience).
  • Experience: Proven success in business development, ideally within engineering or automotive sectors.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Communication & Organisation: Ability to engage at all levels with excellent project management skills.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (German/French is a bonus).
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
