• Location: Solihull
• Position: Vehicle Handling Operative (VHO)
• Type: Flexible Ongoing
• Working Hours: 06.00am-2.00pm/ 2.00pm-10.00pm. Flexibility is required as weekend work IS a requirement of the client as they manufacture vehicles 24/7, the shifts on a Saturday and Sunday are 6.00am to 6.00pm and staff predominantly work one of the days every other weekend. However, if we complete the daily volume early, we do send you home but must be available for the full shift.
• Salary: £12.08 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently move vehicles within the site.
• Ensure all vehicles are positioned correctly and recorded accurately.
• Perform quality checks on vehicles arriving and being dispatched.
• Follow parking procedures and comply with site speed limits.
• Conduct storage and maintenance checks on vehicles.
• Report any vehicle damage or issues to the Compound Team Leaders.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Who you are:

• Age 25+ with a valid UK driver’s license (fewer than 6 points, no DR10 offenses).
• Able to work night shifts and some weekends as required.
• Confidence driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
• A level-headed, safety-conscious approach.
• Ability to pass a driver’s assessment and drug/alcohol test.
