• Location: Chilton
• Position: Wet Paint SPRAYER
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday – 2x shift rotation 6am-2.30pm / 2.30pm-11pm
• Salary: £13.72 per hour

Are you seeking a hands-on role in a dynamic, fast-paced metal fabrication environment? Our client is recruiting Wet Paint Sprayer to produce high-quality paint spraying on fabrications for a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Select paint from stock and prepare the spray booth and paint guns for each new job.
• Perform frequent colour changeovers to meet production requirements.
• Spray parts of various sizes, ensuring the correct paint thickness and gloss levels on the finished product.
• Occasionally jig up parts ready for painting and mask components according to drawing details.
• Pack finished parts to a high standard, ready for dispatch.
• Carry out general housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

About you?

• A minimum of 1 years’ experience working on a powder coat or wet paint plant in a manufacturing environment (not automotive).
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised, managing multiple jobs efficiently within a team of approximately 5 people.
• Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.
• A proactive and flexible approach to tasks, including preparation, painting, and packing duties.
